You may have noticed some of the recent changes taking place around the school: updated landscape, two outdoor, life-size chess boards, the Texas shaped UIL monument, and new playground equipment located on the side of the school. Sabine Pass School is currently undergoing several projects with the purpose of creating an environment that is inviting for all students.
The student life area located in the courtyard between the two main buildings is open to all ages. Older students will enjoy the two chess boards located at either end of the courtyard. Younger students will soon be able to play hopscotch on the courts that will be stenciled onto the concrete. In the future, the courtyard area will be shaded and students and teachers alike will appreciate relaxing at the picnic tables that are being constructed for their enjoyment. Large planters will also soon be filled with various landscape and placed around campus.
